  • Nancy Amos

    Lead Pastor

I grew up in a loving, Christian home. My dad was an insurance salesman and my mom stayed home with my sister and me until I was in grade school. Once I entered grade school our mother began working for the school system. Our family, went camping together every spring, summer and fall. My love for the great outdoors began during these wonderful family outings.  While my loving parents are deceased, they continue to live on in my heart.

In 2006 I received my Master's of Divinity from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio and was ordained in 2009. I have been the lead pastor of a church in the YMCA, the solo pastor of a small church in Zanesville, Ohio, and the Associate Pastor for a large church in Zanesville.

I fully believe that God has fantastic plans for St. Paul’s UMC and together we can continue to be faithful servants of the Lord Jesus Christ.  I am eager for the opportunity God has blessed me with to be in ministry with all of you. I believe that together with the infusion of the Holy Spirit’s leading we will know and follow God’s will with enthusiastic hearts, minds and souls. Contact Pastor Nancy
